As soon as you read this, I want you to check the home page and check out my new dates for the summer. I’ll give you a hint, one of them is CMA Fest Hope to see you out there!

School is out and I spent a nice, relaxing two weeks with family. Nashville awaits though, I’ll be back there soon gearing up for some fun things I have planned for the summer (again, check the home page!)

It’s midway through April and there are no signs of “April Showers” in Nashville! This past winter has been the most mild one I have ever experienced, and I loved it! Just before I went home for Easter break my friend Linda Davis (I toured with her a few years back) invited me to perform at her “On the Rise” show. It was so nice to be able to spend time with her and her lovely daughter Rylee again. She rented out an old hideout of Jesse James’! The venue certainly added to the country feel of the show, along with my fellow performers and the audience’s warm attitude. To sum it all up, I had a great time meeting new people and spending time with sweet friends I hadn’t seen in a while

Finals are coming up at Belmont! Can you believe I’m almost done with my first year of college? I sure can’t… but I’m excited for summer!!!

I’m officially a nineteen year old as of a week ago! Yay!! Things have been really great down here in Nashville. Last Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day, my friend Brittney landed us a trip backstage at the Grand Ole Opry! Talk about a total dream! I rubbed shoulders with the likes of Vince Gill and Kellie Pickler. Just going to the Opry is amazing, but walking around backstage where all of my favorite performers frequent, was unbelievable.

I’ve been putting together a band here in Nashville for my upcoming shows. I’m sure you all noticed the Wichita show in June!! This trip will be my first to Kansas and I’m certainly looking forward to it — and possibly meeting Dorothy

My first semester of college ended really well. I finished with a 3.7 and am hitting the hard now to finish out strong for the whole year! Belmont is the perfect place for me to be. It’s in the midst of Nashville which allows me to pursue music as well as enjoy everything the South has to offer. Check out my music page, I’ve uploaded three of my newest songs! Can’t wait to hear what you think

I have been so busy with acclimating to college life that I have hardly had time to see straight! It has been amazing thus far, though. Nashville is such a great place to go to school in, whether you are a country music fan or not! Although it is a “city”, Nashville has a quaint feel to it that I love!

On the college end of things, I have been busy studying up as a Mass Communications major. I also joined a sorority and am proud to say I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta! The friends I have made have been instrumental in making my college experience as great as it is so far

Musically, I have been incredibly busy. I was in the studio this past week recording six songs. I can’t wait for you to hear them! They’ll be up on the site soon! On Wednesday, I’ll be recording a new song with Lonestar singer Cody Collins! I’m obviously SUPER excited about that! Things are great! Thanksgiving break is just around the corner Love you all! So, I officially did it this time. After years of trying to take things slowly musically in order to finish high school, I really did it. I made the move to Nashville!!!! Yes, I’m sitting in my apartment as I type! I’ve been here for most of the summer, while taking the occasional trip back home to Maryland. I’ll be in this apartment until next Friday when I move into my new home for the next four years: Belmont University! It’s going to be really hard to go from a cute, studio apartment with a killer location to a dorm…but such is life!

I’ve been writing, meeting people, and integrating myself into the Nashville community. And me, who is quite the homebody, is actually thriving. I’ve enjoyed doing some things on my own!

Anyhow, keep me in your prayers! Thanks for you endless love and support! I’ll be posting pictures of my dorm soon! Yikes!!
